Typically making use of a lot more brickwork when compared to traditional conservatories, orangeries are often considered to be the luxurious alternative, integrating seamlessly to feel like a much more natural part of the home. At Great Harwood Windows, we supply all on a project by project basis, offering home extensions that can be utilised for a multitude of applications including a dining room, kitchen, etc.
Established in 1990 by our Managing Director Jimmy Hindle, Great Harwood Windows was originally located in Great Harwood itself before increasing our ambitions and workforce to eventually relocate to Blackburn.
Since then, we’ve built up a reputation as being one of East Lancashire's most trusted and reliable home improvement companies amongst both installers and homeowners.
View our GalleryWe are well equipped to supply and install wide range of orangery and extension styles using Ultraframe’s market leading system. This not only ensures that we’ll be able to cater for properties of various shapes and sizes, but also lets homeowners feel closer to the outside while projecting a specific sense of style. Whether you wish to increase or minimise the amount of glazing used, high efficiency and extra space is guaranteed.
From small orangeries to large kitchen extensions, we can accommodate for any preference. All our orangeries can be installed to make use of either a crystal clear glazed roof or a solid tiled variant. Both excel at locking in any heat generated in the space, preventing it from escaping as it typically would by rising to the top. With an orangery roof from the Great Harwood Windows team, Lancashire homeowners no longer need to suffer from the frequent draughts brought with a polycarbonate roof.
